How it works

  • Choose your package

  • Fill out the form for your chosen package from our Services page and submit it to us

  • We’ll be in touch:

    • For the Express package, we’ll email with a confirmation, timeline, and request any further information we need

    • For Standard and Advanced packages we will email to arrange a time for your consultation

  • Once a timeline is agreed on, we’ll send you an invoice. We require a payment of 50% upfront to start the work

  • We’ll get a draft of the website up and running, then create your personal account in Squarespace so you can have a look and review

  • Here, you’ll set up your payment option for the Squarespace hosting and domain name costs (we don’t put any charges on top of this –it’s easiest for you to manage it directly in Squarespace yourself)

  • When you’re happy with the site, we’ll set up your domain name and go live!

  • Once the website is finalised, we will send you an invoice for the remaining 50% payment

  • For Standard and Advanced packages, we will arrange another call for a simple 30 minute tutorial so you can learn how to update and manage your website

  • Then you’ll be able to share your shiny new website around and boost your online presence!

  • A domain name is a unique web address people will use to find your site (for example, this website is www.pixelpixie.co.nz). It’s good to have one that’s easy to remember and type! These have to be registered and purchased through a domain registrar such as Squarespace, and are usually billed annually.

  • Web hosting is a service where a company stores the content of your website on a server so that it can be viewed from anywhere on the web. Think of it like ‘paying rent’ to store your website. Squarespace does this for us, and can be billed monthly or annually.
